Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mmmm... With shortage of plaster of all types and with no Easy Fill available, I bought this to "finish" some dry lining. It is, as others have said, very loose and I would have preferred a powder form to adjust the mix but hey ho. If you have done some successful plastering then I would say to you " this is not plaster as you know it" and so don't try to work it like plaster. It is, as it says on the the tin, a filler. Even on the hottest day this year with RH at 45%, it did not "set" in the ascribed 120minutes - if you are tapered edge finishing then you could, at a push, put on a second coat after a couple of hours but my experience told me to leave to leave it overnight and that worked a treat but slowed me down. In many ways it is similar to Easy e.g. application, shrinkage, but sands without clogging the paper which was good and the dust is heavy so quickly falls but a mask is still a must. If you're using this overhead, do not apply more than a very thin coat as it's so thin that it easily slumps. All in all, it got me out of a fix and time will tell if it wears well! 2/3 of tub did the finishing on 4 tapered edge joints of board.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Saved me a lot of money after removing kitchen tiles. Had thought I would need a plasterer...walls in a right mess. Two thin coats of this and good as new! Really easy to sand and generally work with. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the average DIYer I used this as a filler and as a small whole wall plaster -it was brilliant .As a filler it stands down very easily around light switches and holes from wall plugs etc . As a plaster I put it on thinly at first to get used to it -I then sanded it down to get it smooth and plastered a thin coat again -I let it dry again then sanded it very lightly and the finish is amazing !! I would recommend this for anyone who needs to do small plastering jobs or to tidy rough walls up for a smooth finish .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous product Bought this to repair my wall after stripping wallpaper off. Couldn't get a plasterer as such small job so tried this. It went on the wall with ease and smoothed nicely. Filled the holes and pitts and left a nice finish. Sanded smooth within 2hrs and I was able to hang wallpaper next day. Highly recommend

Can this be use as a filler for cracks aswell?

I am wondering can this be used as a general filler to fill cracks in the plaster and the bits where nail popping has happened or is it best suited to filling the joint between two sheets of newly mounted plasterboard?
