Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad vibes Bought this to take out a piece of skirting board so a wardrobe would slide right up to the wall. The box that it came in is very cheaply made and will not last, tools are supplied in a cardboard box, so once you've taken them out of this they are free to float around the storage box. The multi tool was easy to set up and did the job, but seemed to struggle no matter what the speed setting was set at. Afterwards my hand was fizzing like severe pins and needles from the tool vibration for a good 10 minutes later, couldn't hold a mug of tea. Even though the tool did its job, it really shows its price point with excessive poorly damped vibration which is passed to the users hand. Needless to say I took this back and changed it for the Erbauer version which is much, much better. I guess you pays your money and takes your choice, cheap doesn't mean good value if the user experience is compromised. In this case it really is worth spending a little more and not going for the cheap base model; after all, you're going to be using this for some years ahead, tools are an investment and you should enjoy not dread using them.

Was really impressed, haven’t used on anything else yet but going on how it cut the corrugated sheets should work well. Have only given 3 stars for reliability as have only used the once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A revelation Confession. I never really understood what these tools could do ( other than fine sanding ).. Bought to remove a section of skirting board to fit a cabinet . Brilliant . Such a versatile tool. Looking back at all the finishing jobs that would have been so much easier . At this price its a bargain. Reliability ? Watch this space.

corrugated plastic roofing sheets

Can these tools be used to cut Corrugated plastic roofing sheets? I've tried a jigsaw, hacksaw, Stanley knife. Everything cracks it. Will this multi tool do or do I need a rotary tool - like a mini grinder with fine blade.

Hi, When i did my shed I found an angle grinder with a metal cutting blade worked the best for me gave a clean cut just Mark out the line first with a marker and lie it onto a piece of wood. I've also heard of people using a soldering iron to do more detailed around pipes. Good luck and hope this helps!
