The door had previously been painted, and I lightly sanded it and wiped down.
.
Any thoughts? Suggestions on what to do next?
Thank you for your enquiry, the high resin content in Eggshell can locate traces of surface contaminants such as grease, polish, wax, silicones etc. These can prevent the coating forming a smooth film, and in effect separate around the small areas or deposits on the surface, leaving spots, or indentations, the effect is called cissing. Wipe the surface with white spirits on a cloth, will degrease the surface, and the cloth will lift any contamination, once dry slightly sand and repaint
