Can you have more than 1 of these in a house? I've seen some where you can only connect one.

Asked by: Lfcmanchester
Hello Lfcmanchester, 1 per house hold is the normal recommendation as they take the wifi signal and broadcast to the weak spots in your home. 1 is normally sufficient for most residential homes however Wi-Fi routers can work with 2 at the same time. Thank you for using Screwfix Q&A. A.K.C.

Do you need 2 of these? One connected to your router and one in the remote area you wish to extend to?

Asked by: Jjjess
Hello Jjjess, You would normally only require 1 socket placed halfway between the router and the WiFi dead zone. Thank you for using Q&A SW

constant blue flashing light

Asked by: m11ckx
Hello, This could be a sign that the socket is not able to connect to the router, or that the router is too far away for the socket to receive a connection. You might wish to try resetting the socket (As if setting up for the first time). If this doesn't work then you could also try moving the router closer to the socket to see if this resolves the issues. Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]

Follow-up to my previous question

Hi Thank you for your feedback. Please can advise how i can put the sockets on holiday mode. Please can you send the instructions too. Thank you and kind regards
Asked by: TandaGaram
Hello, I have emailed you the instructions, (which includes a section on the ‘holiday mode’). Hope that helps. MH

I have vigin media Hub3 and connected via WPS but there is no signal.

I have connected via WPS. Blue light has stopped flashing. I have installed 4 sockets. But none of them has internet connection. Devices connect to sockets but then stops there. No boost?
Asked by: TandaGaram
Hello TandaGaram, It may be that the sockets have connected to each other instead of connecting to the router and they aren't able to daisy chain. Reset the sockets and put them into holiday mode. Then take them out one by one and connect them to the router before putting it back into holiday mode and connecting the next one. Thank you for using Q&A (CW)
