Rated 5 out of 5 by from Splitter We bought this splitter to divide the signal for a standard aerial to supply the house, Worked lovely, although I have to say that you have to consider the strength of the signal entering the splitter, too low and you'll get nothing out, so consider an amplifier on the aerial signal into the splitter

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product Good quality and tidy product, needed to fit a Labgear 1in 1 out amplifier to feed this passive splitter after to achieve good results on the HD channels of two of the four TVs connected, this was probable due to the need to filter out local 4G signal from a local mobile phone mast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well even with 1 unused Great item works well, This replaced my mains powered amplified splitter. NOTE: I used this to split one antenna into 5 runs of cable around my house, for the last unused port (DC through) i added a F Male 75 ohm terminator, which closes off the open port. Open ports can cause signal reflections and unwanted interference. This can result in poor signal quality leading to poor pictures. Overall very happy.

can you use this to add another dvb box to dish?

ive a single lnb on my static caravan dish but looking to add another freesat box , can you use this or do you need to change lnb to multi port

Unfortunately due to the LNB outputs carrying voltages it is not possible to split them.

What does the power pass connection mean? Also do I have to do something specific with this port?

The power pass allows you to change channel on a Sky Box (if required) with the use of a Digi-Eye - if you are not using this function then it will work as a normal port. Thanks

Are blanking plugs required

Should resistors/ blank ends be put on any unused outputs? Someone told me that the signal may deteriorate if you don't.

Splitters in series

If I needed say 8 outputs, providing I have a good aerial signal, can i put another splitter in series to increase the outputs?
