Which wire connectors can be used to extend a 13amp ring main

The IDEAL 'Lever' connectors are rated at 24A and could be used on a ring main as long as the current did not exceed 24A. We would suggest using the IDEAL Push-In wire connectors. The 2, 3 & 4 port models are rated at 32A and are designed for use with solid conductors found in standard 1.0mm2, 1.5mm2 and 2.5mm2 flat grey twin & earth cables. Ring main circuits for general power / sockets are wired with 2.5mm2 twin & earth cable.
