Quality unit in a good case, straight forward to charge and use. Light on the unit came in handy when jump starting after i came home from work. Far cheaper than a jump start from garage too.

The slimline pack will be great for stowing in the glovebox as well. I ordered this on Sunday afternoon for delivery to home and it was with me Monday lunchtime. Fabulous service!

Will this power bank start a 12v AGM battery

12v AGM battery on Toyota Auris Hybrid will go flat if our car has not been used for several weeks. Can I connect this power bank to the 12v battery in order to start the car. The battery only supplies the electronics which then allow the car start.

What is the distance over which the jump lead cables will stretch?

My car battery is in accessible...there is a positive terminal and an earth terminal but they are further apart than a regular battery. I just want to be sure the cables will reach

Can this device start a car with a completely flat battery? Thanks in advance.

Hello, thank you for the question. Yes, this would start a car with a flat battery. This is providing the battery is still in a working condition. If the battery is fault it may not jump start the car as cannot get the power though the fault battery. In this case we recommend disconnecting the battery and connecting the unit directly onto the terminals. If this starts the car it may indicate the battery is faulty. Regards, Hilka Tools

Trickle charge

Hi there Would it be a good idea to connect this too my 12volt socket in the boot? Would this keep it topped up or is it better left in the case and just mains charged occasionally.

Hello, thank you for the question. This items comes with a main and also a 12v charger. It would not be recommended on either to leave it plugged in all the time as this could damage the battery. The charge will hold for between 6-12 months, however, we suggest to recharge it at least every 3 months. Regards, Hilka Tools
