Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cistern in a box I needed to replace fill valve and an older syphon, this had it all in a single box, for a really good price. Very easy to fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cistern replacement kit Exc value for money & relatively easy to fit. Poor instructions, certain points should have a larger picture - adjusting the flush levels & the input water level. The flush level settings are stiff & need a strong push to slide them up/down. There is a concern that they may break if you press too hard. The bottom entry valve adjustment is unclear - you need to remove the little grey clip & then twist the outer body before sliding it up or down & then twisting it back to lock it into place. The flush unit can be twisted & removed but there is no clarity on how far you need to turn it when refitting it. Finally, the bottom entry fitting was a bit shorter than my old unit so I had to extend my inlet pipe in order to reconnect my water supply. None of these are major issues just things to be aware of - the box also says 3 year warranty

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overflow point Is the part for the fill valve, were the overflow pipe goes suppose to be seal or am I missing something. When I turn on the water nothing comes out of that point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complete Kit 1/2 in / 2in This is a complete kit to replace everything in the cistern. It includes the input valve, the flush valve, the push buttons for the top of the cistern and the mounting fittings for reconnecting the cistern to the toilet (so long as your toilet uses bolts that go through the cistern to the toilet) as well as the doughnut / foam seal to seal the connection between the cistern and the toilet. Some measurements. The input is 1/2 inch BSP - this is an old (and weird) measurement so the outside diameter is more like 3/4 inch. The flush valve likewise is 2 inch BSP which means just over 2 1/4 inches (the hole in the bottom of the cistern should be a little larger than this. The doughnut is 110mm in diameter. All in all a good and complete kit that was relatively easy to fit. Have a play with the input valve before you fit it so you know how it works. The grey tab pushes downwards so you can then rotate the top of the unit anti-clockwise which then allows you to slide the unit to a greater or lesser hight. Rotating clockwise locks the unit. I cannot figure out what the settings on the flush valve are and cannot move the red tab at all. The manual is pretty useless here. Despite all this highly recommended and great value.

I installed this today as per instructions. It will not fill. Did I do something wrong or is there a flow regulator ?

Can I use this unit with a top central mounted hole for the dual flush system?

Current unit is top mounted.
Asked by: Rob125
Hello Rob125, If you mean the button on the flush valve, yes the button can be mounted in a hole that's on top of the cistern. The flush valve would not work mounted like this though. Thank you for using Q&A (CW)
