Thank you for your question. The correct extinguisher to cover Electrical risk is either a CO2 extinguisher, or a Powder extinguisher. However please note that Powder extinguishers can cause visibility problems when used indoors, and the powder particles can sometimes cause breathing difficulties if inhaled. We would strongly recommend a Fire Risk Assessment to be carried out by a trained, competent and qualified person (in accordance with BS 5306 Part 3 & Part 8). They will be able to advise you how many extinguishers you need, and where to place them in the shop.
Firechief Extinguishers come with EN3 Certification and CE Approval as well as other certification on many models. Please be aware that a Commissioning/Installation certificate is not supplied with the units - this is issued by the certified installer. I trust this helps?
