Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusty I am an electrician I bought 7 of these lights a few years ago, easy to install, expensive, after one year they will start flickering, the screws where holding the bulbs will get rusty and will ruin your bath, it makes stains that you can’t remove easily. It has happened in my bathroom now I have to replace all of them after I spent a lot money of them. I am very disappointed! Think about the future! I would call them rusty downlights.

Do I need a down light cover/lid for this product amongst insulation in the loft as previous halogen spot lights?

I have old halogen spot lights in the loft, which I want to replace with these LED lights. Do these require covers to prevent overheating / fire?
Asked by: Alexkid
Hi There, Yes these fittings can be covered with soft fibre based insulation up to 300mm however this is not a requirement if no insulation already in place

Are the bulbs changeable?

One of mine has blown. Can I change the bulb? Or do I need to buy a new entire downlight?
Asked by: RalphPrizzle
Hi there, these are integrated so the whole unit needs to be replaced. If under 3 years old you can seek a replacement directly with Aurora. Please send a copy of your proof of purchase to Technical@auroralighting.com. Thanks Aurora

Lights stopped working. Flashing twice. That’s it’s.

Hello. I had these installed 2 years ago. And they’ve been working fine. On a dimmer switch. Suddenly the whole circuit of 4 have stopped working. When I switch them on, the lights flash twice. Any ideas what’s up?
Asked by: RalphPrizzle
Hi There, unlikely all 4 failed at one time. Remove dimmer and test on a on/off switch. If the issues is still present you can claim under warranty. Please send a copy of your proof of purchase to Aurora Technical. Thanks Aurora
