Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it should. Had the same previously for about 2 years and I'm a carpenter so it gets thoroughly tested. Finally asked too much of it so had to replace it. Only one option, the same again but the upgraded brushless version which conveniently uses the same batteries so happy days!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An impressive drill I bought this drill back in November 2017 and Screwfix replaced it in June 2018 with a no quibble service. I was very impressed with it but the clutch mechanism stuck occasionally when I attempted to change from screwdriver mode to drill mode. This was an intermittent fault but it was very reassuring that I got a new for old replacement within the one year guarantee. I do a considerable amount of DIY and woodworking and use the drill fairly regularly so it was very reassuring that I got a new for old replacement within the one year guarantee. I’m really pleased with all its features. Having the second battery is a real bonus and I like the fact that the drill has the hammer action. It is good too to have the battery indicator with just a quick press. Due to the replacement issue I gave the drill four rather than five for reliability but, given the ease of return and replacement, I’m a happy Screwfix and De Walt customer. I think my issue was a small one and I am optimistic that my replacement role will be very reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressed After 30 years with my faithful old Bosch I took the plunge and tried this cordless. I only wished I had done it sooner. All my fears were blown away by the first couple of days of use. It's only being used for DIY stuff but this drill has bags of torque, ample run time and is every bit as controllable as my old drill. It has the added advantage of reverse gear and the absence of a chuck key saves all that messing about. It's a bit early to talk about reliability but its feels pretty solid (and, if I’m honest, I’m not expecting to be using a drill In another 30 years)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Dewalt combi drill This DeWalt combi-drill is well engineered. I purchased because my old drill batteries were not keeping charge. Used a couple of times with the hammer action, and it's great for using in awkward places where a corded drill is clumbersome. 2 batteries which only take an hour to fully charge, and a roomy case to store screwdriver bits and drills. Overall I would rate this drill tops.
