Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good I have spent a lot of money on cheaper boots. All have been uncomfortable. Not these. They last a long time and are waterproof and I can wear these and walk in them all day. Would definitely recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive and not fit for use Comfy boots but don’t expect waterproof for long. After 5 months water started getting in so nice wet feet. Not what you expect for the price of these. Wasn’t like wading though water either just normal rainy days. Upon contacting dewalt they don’t stand by the product and state they only brand it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, dry & waterproof well worth the loot. i have had 5 pairs in my career to date. a sight more comfortable than the std company offerings. a history; Chally2s were goretex & great for wide feet. Black Challenger3s were sympatex & equally good fit dry & waterproof. Expect 18-24mths of use, replacing the laces at 12mths. Most recent pair (14mths ago) were only available in brown; These were not labelled as 3s & are snug across the toes. Durability is same as before. Brown boots mark worse & look scruffy faster. Great for walking the dogs as well. Will I buy again? yes, and in black..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from comfortable I was hesitant about buying these as they were the most expensive of my shortlist. having ordered about 5 different models to compare, these were the most comfortable (princess and glass slipper anyone?) so I sent the rest back and got refunds. These proved to be very comfortable for long periods - with a change of insoles to a shock absorbing (sorbothane cush'n'step) model. My two points of negativity are: they are a bit on the warm side - even though I suffer from cold feet most of the year!; and They don't seem to be "waterproof" as they claim to be - I spent about an hour and a half walking rainy streets at 2 months old and my socks were soaked after about 20-30 mins. The hot property meant that my feet were warm although wet. In Summary, good points - comfortable, Bad points - not waterproof, and hot! Would I buy them again? Looks like it as every thing that claims to be waterproof gets a "not waterproof" comment in the reviews

Low riser or high riser for ankle?

Are these boots classed as a low riser for the ankle support, or are they a high riser like the dewalt titanium boots?
Asked by: Watty78
My apologises I am not 100% sure what you would classify as a low or high riser for ankle support. I would say the Challenger is a 5'' inch work boot, where as the Titanium is a 6'' inch work boot.
