Knock-outs
What size are the knock-outs in the bottom?
According to the Crabtree spec there are no knock-outs in top, I guess the Screwfix description "Top & Bottom Cable Entry Points" is incorrect. Please confirm.

Hello. There is a 32mm knockout on the top / right hand side above the Isolator/ RCD and 2 x 20mm knockouts on the bottom at either corner left and right. Thank you for your interest in our Crabtree Starbreaker brand.

Which Model of Main Switch to use in this cu?
The instructions that came with this cu explain that the ONE spare slot is to accommodate a Main Switch (not supplied). However, Crabtree Starbreaker main switches (dp) that I've seen, need the space of TWO slots, i.e. they are twice the width of an MCB.

Hi, This unit does not require a Main Switch. It has a 63A RCD already fitted which acts as the main incomer whilst also providing the required RCD protection for the unit . The pre-installed 50A MCB provides the protection for the shower unit.
The instruction leaflet with this unit is for a generic leaflet for the Crabtree Starbreaker 4 module consumer unit which is the base unit used for the shower kit. The spare outgoing way is for an additional MCB if required and not a main switch.
We suggest you consult a qualified electrician for further guidance.
