Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only one to use This is the only shower pull switch that has been designed with the installer in mind. It has nice smooth entry points for the cable and the cover is easy to fit without trying to force everything back into the box. However you will still need a fair bit of slack on your cables to comfortably wire it up to be able to tighten all four inlet/outlet feeds as you need to twist it in order to tighten the rear screws. I would advise leaving the earth about 1inch longer as this is a bit tight when trimmed off equal to the main cores. The pull has a nice action and it feels of a higher quality than the MK ones I have been using. We'll have to see on reliability but so far everything looks good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Watch out for fixing screws !! Having had this type in my bathroom for years and seeing mixed reviews for all types on here I bought this when asked to fit one for a friend. Cables have to be bent in a fairly tight u-shape which was very difficult with 10mm sq but only to be expected but after putting cover on and deciding the cables needed to be a tighter u and when removing cover one of the fixed studs that cover fixes to parted company from the body. Decided it was too much hassle to return as the body was fitted and so superglued in and tightened up much more carefully. Needed to remove cover shortly after again as light not making contact and the other one parted company as well despite not being that tight in first place. Not impressed with the quality of the stud fixings at all. Hopefully the switch performs ok !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value The switch was bought to replace an older one that had been well used. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and feels very robust

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crabtree 50A shower switch This switch is exactly the same as the one it’s replacing, which I bought about 11 years ago. If this one lasts as long as it’s predecessor, I will be very happy. (Only time will tell). As mentioned by another reviewer, it is a bit fiddly to fit when it’s close to a wall and also I found it quite difficult bending the heavy duty cable to fit into the terminals. However once fitted, it works absolutely fine.
