would this be appropriate for an external timber door (on a cabin) opening outwards.

I need something that is flat when the door is shut (and the blinds are down) and will prevent the door from swinging open on a windy day. Thank you

Thank you for your question. If the closer is door mounted push side you need to use the BRITON 2721BD.
