Gland to enclosure seal required?
Is there a o-ring/flat washer that is required for fitting the gland to enclosure to ensure IP rating? Or does the gland meet this with plastic to plastic interface
Asked by: Car3489
Hi Car3489,
The gland kit comes with all required gland inserts etc. to meet the requirements of the regulations.
One thing to bear in mind is that our certified IP rating for these glands is 4X (so no fluid protection) hence an interface gland is not required.

Hi RBIPS,
This gland has a 32mm diameter, so any box with 32mm knockouts (or that you could drill a 32mm hole into) would be suitable.
