I bought this switch to go with 3 dimmable LED spotlights and this and the lights buzz. Don’t understand as it’s specifically designed for this
Buzzing gets worse if you try to dim!
Hi KlosDIY,
Strictly speaking all dimmed circuits buzz, but it is normally outside of the range of human hearing in both volume and frequency.
A strong audible buzzing is normally an indication of an inappropriate load, so either the dimmer is not set into LED mode (by turning the potentiometer on the rear fully anti-clockwise), the lighting is outside of the normal LED load range of 5-50W, or the lighting is designed specifically for Trailing Edge dimming where this is a Leading Edge type dimmer (so the method of dimming required is different).
