Can this be driven from a 24v supply?

Asked by: toomanytools

Can two of these contactors have a mechanical interconnect so only one of the two contactors can be open at any one time?

Many contactors allow the switches to be connected by a small pin so as one is open the other has to be closed.
Asked by: HoneyJukes
Hi HoneyJukes, Unfortunately not, the contactors are manufactures as NO across the board with no way to alter them to being NC mechanically or linking them together to operate alternately.

Can two of these contactors be mechanically linked so that one is NO and the other is NC as I wish to build my own generator/grid ATS with time delay actuators.

I intend to connect it to a generic off the shelf ATS unit so that when grid power fails the grid contactor immediately goes open and after 15 second delay the generator contactor closes.

does the contactor come with an N/O auxillary contact

Asked by: kendo669
Hi kendo669. The contactor is normally open if there is no power on the control line, it closes when power is supplied.

Can I assume this would fit in a MK consumer unit 2520G?

Asked by: Bigtinks
Hi Bigtinks. We have not tested our products in other manufacturers consumer units so we cannot guarantee how they would perform. Mixing manufacturers devices/consumer units will also void any warranty.
