Rated 5 out of 5 by from Box section Bob Bought on spec. Looks well made and robust. No installed as yet, so reliability is to be determined. Easy to order, priced well as it was on offer. Ready to pick up in good, quick time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value for the Money Solid bit of kit, well made, I’ve fitted a few recently. All are still working as they should. Easy to fit, room for cabling. Good would certainly buy again.

Use with small mains lawnmower?

The instructions in the package say "No" but reading your product details and Q&A there seems to be no problem?
Asked by: Tedzbera

Will this socket face fit on an existing dryline back box.

I know that some metal clad sockets, only fit on their own back box. They tend to be a bit smaller than standard back box
Asked by: Gunner121
Hi Gunner121, Strictly speaking the socket would fit any standard recessed box, but you run the risk of it biting into the wall surface if it is installed in the way which you propose (as the edge is quite thin where it will meet the wall, so tightening the fixing screws could cause it to act like a knife in the plasterwork).

Is this item made in the UK

Asked by: Lilbet
Hi Lilbet, Realistically the important factor is that the product is safe and complies with all relevant standards, which it does. In answer to your question though, raw material costs in the UK are too high for us to be able to afford to manufacture here.

Is the RCD latching or none latching? eg will it need resetting if there is a power cut?

Asked by: nickthechef
Hi nickthechef, Passive RCDs are Latched, Active would be Non-Latching (and hence need resetting after a power cut).

Outdoor floodlights

Hi I am looking to install 4 x 50w LAP floodlights on the one circuit. Is it possible replace an unused socket in my kitchen with this and simply put a plug on the wire connecting the 4 floodlights?
Asked by: Connor1424
Hi Connor1424, 4x 50W lights would not particularly cause a problem to a 3A (720W), 5A (1200W / 1.2kW) or 13 fuse (3120W / 3.12kW) in a plug so your proposed connection method sounds fine.
