the inner part of the valve, as the treaded end to tap, is worn and won't let you turn on or off.

how do these work? do i need then both fully open? one open and one closed? or both somewhere in between?
I am replacing an existing radiator which has two of these manual valves and have been told i need to keep them both as manual ones on at least one rad in the house which would be this one.

What size of hex/allen key is needed to fit the tails?
The radiator tail looks like it needs a hex/allen key which fits on the inside to tighten up. There are no instructions in the box specifying the size of key required.
Asked by: Scott72c
Hello Scott72c,
A hexagonal radiator spanner or allen key could be used to tighten tail. The hole is approximately 13mm hex.
