Can anyone advise on the wiring for the neon light to work in switch mode. At the moment its on when light is off and vice versa
Hi ChapelTim,
For the indicator to function in Switch Mode without restricting the circuit power you would need a Neutral at the switch position, then you can move the indicator wire from COM to L1/1Way (to be with the Switched Live circuit wire) and remove the link wire from the L2/2Way terminal and terminal block (to be replaced here with the Neutral).
Alternatively you could run a low powered circuit _through_ the indicator by moving the COM wire, as above, into the L1/1Way terminal and removing the link wire from the L2/2Way terminal and terminal block (to be replaced here this time with the Switched Live circuit wire) but this does run the risk of either causing the circuit to run under-powered or the indicator light to be `burned-out' in a relatively short time and potentially cut off power to the circuit as a result.
