Rated 1 out of 5 by from Definitely doesn't work... Do no buy! I bought this for changing basin taps. As many other reviews say, the jaw sizes are way off. The end marked 15mm is actually 28mm, and the end marked 22mm is 33mm!

Will this work for a kitchen sink mixer tap?

Will this work for a kitchen sink mixer tap?
Asked by: AJAY3000
Hello AJAY3000, Depending if your tap has 1/2" compression nut as this Wrench is suitable for back and union nuts on pillar and bath taps. If your tap has a single large nut you possible need this for example: ROTHENBERGER MONOBLOCK TAP SPANNER SET (40102). Thank you for using Q&A, [BH].

What are the size of the spanner ends

Will one end do the nut for the tap to the basin and the other the nut on a flexi?
Asked by: Mych
The one I bought had one end marked 15mm, but which varied between 26.2mm and 27.9mm. That's way too big for any 15mm compression nut but also too big for 1/2" tap nuts or back-nuts. The end marked 22mm is actually a 32.5mm gap, which might fit 3/4" tap-nuts, but I didn't try it. The wrench is poorly cast iron, and the mould probably changes size during production. Consequently you might get one that actually fits something.
