Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doesn't fit a shipping contain This is a good lock. You can snap it shut without the key. However, on Screwfix website it does not make it clear that the key entry and shackle extrusion are NOT on the same side of the lock so it will not work on a container. If you want a lock to fit under the antivandal plate on a container the key entry and shackle removal must be on the same side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from padlocks for shipping containe I recently purchased 3 of these locks to secure shipping containers, on first inspection they appeared very light weight to what I had used in the past but saying this they appeared well made. early days yet but they appear to be performing well, no issues or problems with the keys or locking mechanism and appear to be weathering well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Security For the price this is a great lock, from a top manufacturer. It is solid and very secure. We have several of these locks used for medium to high security purposes. The only niggle I have is that occasionally it can be awkward to get the key in to one of the locks (always the same one). It always goes in eventually but can take a bit of fiddling. To be fair though, it's only on one of the locks and it's one that has been out in the elements for 3+ years. All of the other ones are functioning fine.

Warrentee / Guarantee

Given its a premium padlock, what is the guarantee period? I bought a few of them and one lock in particular now will only accept the key after considerable struggle...it can take 5 to 10 mins to open lock! Please help.
