How do we raise money?
We raise funds throughout the year to support causes that will change people’s lives. Look out for raffles and fundraising weeks held within Screwfix stores and you can also round up your pennies when shopping online at www.screwfix.com or on the Screwfix app.

The purpose of the Screwfix Foundation is really important to Liz, being able to make a difference to small and large charitable organisations through the foundation grants means we can make an impact across a broad range of projects. Liz worked for the United Way while living in America, the work of that organisation was all about linking businesses to charitable projects. Liz has been the HR Director for Screwfix since 2015, where she leads the People Agenda for all the colleagues across the Screwfix businesses. Screwfix colleagues are key in helping us raise money for the Foundation and the link back to colleague engagement is very significant.

Hospice UK

Hospice UK

The Screwfix Foundation has partnered with Hospice UK - the national champion representing the community of more than 200 hospices across the UK. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to supporting people in need and making a meaningful difference in communities where we live and work.

Hospices care for around 310,000 people each year, yet many are underfunded and under increasing pressure. Through this partnership, we’ll provide improvement grants to help hospices enhance their facilities and buildings, ensuring more people receive the care they need, now and in the future.

We’re delighted to welcome Hospice UK as our newest charity partner. This collaboration will enable us to extend our reach and support even more people within our communities.

VIY

VIY

Volunteer It Yourself (VIY) and The Screwfix Foundation have joined forces to deliver an initiative that transforms community spaces while giving young people the chance to learn valuable trade skills. This collaboration combines VIY’s expertise in youth engagement and training with The Screwfix Foundation’s commitment to supporting local projects and charitable organisations.

The partnership is expanding nationwide, with plans to deliver projects in all four UK nations by the end of 2026. Together, we aim to create more opportunities for young people and continue revitalising charitable spaces where they’re needed most.
