The Makita DUC150Z 18V Li-ion LXT Brushless Cordless 150mm Pruning Saw (Bare) is a compact power tool designed for efficient wood cutting. This tool is ideal for landscapers and gardeners working on light tree maintenance. A brushless motor delivers a chain speed of 8m/s and up to 350W maximum output for fast, efficient cuts, while tool-less chain tensioning allows quick, easy adjustments on site. The automatic chain lubrication system keeps the 150mm bar performing smoothly and features a 55ml oil tank with a convenient oil level viewing window. Equipped with a lock-off lever accessible from either side, an electronic brake, rear hand guard and moveable chain guard, the saw is designed to enhance operator safety during use. The moveable chain guard covers the upper side of the bar and opens gradually wider as the chain cuts deeper into the branch. The saw uses an 80TXL chain with 32 links, a 0.325" pitch and a 1.1mm gauge. This bare unit requires a compatible 18V LXT battery and is not compatible with G-Series batteries.
