Rated 2 out of 5 by from Keep your battens ready. I can’t see the point of this kit. It’s cumbersome. The lip behind the tile support can create problems when you attempt to remove the kit and move it. It’s fiddly and you can never be certain it hasnt moved slightly. Great idea. I suggest that any pro or semi pro tiler would not be using this. The good old stable, cheap, readily replaceable wood batten can’t be beaten. The kit is height limited unlike a batten. For bath areas, the instructions state to rest planks on the bath and place the kit on the planks. Good luck with that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for tilers I used to use timber battens for my levels but after using this piece of kit I will not be returning to them any time soon. These are simple to set up, a joy to use to get your level and easy to clean. What more do you need? No more faffing with getting good straight pieces of wood and trying to attach them to the wall. You have these to hand and you're set up quickly and tiling before the timber battens are on the wall. I wish I had found these sooner!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use after a few moods Great product and saves a lot of time. Pity I had to get one of the legs re threaded as the threads didn't go all the way to the end on one leg and could get the leg put together. Make sure you check the product before leaving....

how tall are the legs / what is the maximum batten height?

Are all components aluminium as per picture or are some plastic ( excluding feet ofcourse )
