Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used once fell apart After reading previous reviews, I thought this was the tool to cut a piece of glass for greenhouse, used once half way through , disintegrated with wheel falling apart, without doing the job, small parts falling to the floor.Total rubbish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smoooooth Operatir Works very smoothly without any distortion. A lot easier than I thought cutting float glass mirror door. I was expecting to throw away the old mirror door. This cutter saved it. I managed to cut it to size and mounted it on the wall with the backing board

(I am a Female novice who’s tiled before but using a wheel, this time my tiles are antiqued glass so thought I’d give this a go.) I shall have to ring customer services tomorrow as they don’t seem to answer any questions posed on here either so not a great start!

Technical spec

I notice that this glass cutter weighs 18Kgs according to the spec. Does it come with a frame and a winch to lift it whilst you are cutting the glass? If so, £4.99 is a very good price!

will it cut 10 mm glass

The cutter will score glass bottles. The trick is to keep the cut line level around the bottle. Some form of jig may be needed.

Will this cut Perspex glass/ acrylic 2mm

Thank you for your interest in Vitrex products. You will be able to use this cutter as a "score" and "snap" for your Perspex / Acrylic which is 2mm thick. I hope that helps to answer your question.
