Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Really disappointed it broke on the first outing. I didn’t even finish 3 bricks. What a waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mortar Rake If you’ve never used this fantastic bit of kit before you are in for a treat. As the rake simply attaches to your angle grinder it’s an inexpensive addition to your tool kit that breathes additional use into that angle grinder and also speeds up and simplifies pointing. The rake cuts through old mortar like butter. If you are getting one specificity for brickwork then I’d go for the 12mm rake but as I also use it on some stone walls this longer 40mm rake with its deeper cut is ideal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Saver Was doubtful this would work but wow it did, cut down so much time/effort and hitting my hand with a lump hammer, you can take a full brick out in less than 10 mins.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very good makes light work of re-pointing. normal cement / sand removal very easy. cement alone and its not so easy and i feel it will go blunt very quickly. the longer one i ordered is the best one for tight spots.

I bought one of these yesterday and it broke after clearing the mortar around 4 bricks. How can I get a replacement

Asked by: Securipol

What tool does the mortar rake attach to?

Can't work out from the picture what the M14 female thread screws onto??
Asked by: Roanaldo
Hi Roanaldo, The M14 female thread is designed to go on to the M14 male threads on the spindles of angle grinders. I hope this information is of help to you.
