Is this good for MDF architrave

Asked by: Djsld
The Mitrebond adhesive is perfect for holding the 90 degree joints together in the corners but is not suitable for fixing the back of the architrave to the wall.

Can you use this adhesive without the spray

Can you use glue without the spray??
Asked by: ziggymoo
The adhesive on its own will work on non porous surfaces without the activator, however, on porous surfaces ( raw/cut MDF) the activator will be required. The cure time of the adhesive on non porous surfaces, without the apray activator, will be approximately 3 minutes (depending on environmental conditions).

Will this stick edging to a worktop?

Can I use this to stick the worktop edging to the worktop and upstands?
Asked by: Diybodgeit
No, Mitrebond is not the correct product for this application, it will set too quickley. You need to use either a good quality contact adhesive or double sided worktop edging tape.

I want to use this on the rubber wire.

Can I use this glue to stick rubber wire to UPVC frames. I only need to use this glue on a couple of spots to keep the wire in place, but wasn't sure whether it would damage the rubber on the wire.
Asked by: Convert
Yes the Mitrebond should be fine for this application. Care should be taken with the activator though as overspray or excessive use of activator can cause white UPVC to yellow.
