Rated 5 out of 5 by from Value alternative to mechanica Works fine, just need to follow the instructions, the random feature is useful if you want to create the impression that someone is in while on holiday

Rated 5 out of 5 by from slim fitting fits in ip66 wanted a slim fitting timer to go inside an ip66 enclosure- this does. the timer set up is good ,with different default groups ie weekend , weekday ,making it quicker to set up . has 10 separate groupings. do not know about reliability as only just got it. for the price is very good choice and would buy another in preference to the 24 hr mechanical timers bought in the past .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and easy to use Compact and easy to programme. Would be useful if the display was backlit hence 4 stars but otherwise great value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Read the instructions! Not intuitive, so keep the instructions. Once you get the hand of it, it's simple and reliable. use it to keep our motorhome battery charged whilst in storage.

how many programs a day

how many on off functions can the timer have per day? I'd like to have it on off every half an hour or so, if it doesn't do this do you have any suggestions?
Asked by: fuzed
Hi, thank you for your product enquiry. This Masterplug Digital Programmable 7-Day Timer 240V has a total of 10 timer slots each of which can be programmed to work on a single only or any of the day combinations. This gives you a maximum of 10 on and off actions per day. For repeated switching in multiples of 15 minutes a 24 hour mechanical segment timer would seem more appropriate.

Why won’t it come on when I have charged it?

Hi, bought this a while ago and have used it successfully several times without any issues whatsoever. What could be wrong?
Asked by: ScrewFixShaun
Hi, thank you for your product enquiry. This Masterplug Digital Programmable 7-Day Timer 240V will not necessarily spring to life once the on-board battery is charged, you may need to press the RESET button (with a pin or straightened paper-clip). If resetting the timer does not work then the on-board battery has become catastrophically discharged and cannot function any more, which will unfortunately render the timer unusable.

Timer switches light on in auto but it is not the programmed time

Hi I have this programmed to come on at 1900 off at 2230. When I select auto it turns the light on out with these hours, randomizer is not selected. I have done a reset and it still does the above.
Asked by: HelpAlison
Hi, thank you for your product enquiry. This Masterplug Digital Programmable 7-Day Timer 240V does not know if it is between an ON and OFF time, so it will stay in the same condition until it reaches an appropriate instruction time (i.e. OFF at 22:30). You can manually alter the state of the timer using the MANUAL button to change from AUTO to OFF (this may take several presses) then back to AUTO again so that it will follow the programmed times.

Why won't the timer function work

Charged it up, and set the time and program1 to work on a seven day basis, but it wll not work on auto. I have tried resetting to no avail. I bought three together, and one seems to be working but I can't understand what I am doing wrong!
