Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2nd Time Lucky The first one arrived in 24 hours, but! when tried to cut a piece of 12mm ply the saw in the track was so stiff it took 2 hands to push it and ended up pushing the track accros the ply. One call to customer services and a new one was sent to my local store and 2 days later I now have a saw that is working properly. Can't give more than 2 stars for reliability as only had it for a couple of days so time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised This is my first product by this brand. I am happy with the performance, cut finish, and ease of use. I removed the anti kickback as I found it annoying. As with all plunge saws, align the rail perfectly, keep it clean, use some silicone spray now and again. Having used the festool plunge, there is a notable quality difference, but not enough to warrant spending ten times more however, I'm not a chippy using it day in, day out. If I was, all my gear would be milwaukee, of which mine is.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from macalister plunge saw bought yesterday 9/7/21 trigger buttons very difficult to work making cutting difficult tracks are rather small so not sufficient for long lengths

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plunge saw Same price as the shop where everything is in the middle but with a guide rail and it does that little bit more.

If I want to cut a strip exactly 140mm wide do I need to measure 142mm from the sheet straight edge to allow for the blade thickness or do I measure 140 mm

have extremely limited plywood for a project and simply cannot afford to get even my first cut wrong and don't want to spend £35 on another board!!
Asked by: waffy
Hello Waffy, We would advise measuring up to the 140mm line and using the saw on the outer-side of this line in order to get the correct cuts Thank you for using Q&A

Top safety button to press trigger.

The top safety release button that allows you to press the trigger and plunge. Is very stiff and sounds quite clunky is this normal?
Asked by: 1adf1
Yes, mine is the same, it works fine but it is a bit stiff
