When can I paint on newly laid concrete?
Is this OK for open (sheltered with sides / roof) bays & garage? New concrete floor 120mm. How long before I can apply paint please?
Asked by: GreyPaintFloor
Allow one month per inch in depth, so 120 mm is just under 5 months, but the floor also needs a fully fitted, and intact damp proof course

What is the minimum temperature for optimum pain curing?t
I purchased a house recently (October 2020) and want to coat the garage floor before I move all my stuff in.
What is the minimum temperature the garage needs to be for optimum curing?
Asked by: SWilson92
Thank you for your enquiry, ideally the temperature during application and drying should be 10 and above, but also maintaining maximum ventilation.

Suitable in the bedroom?
We have just had a loft conversion done, and i want to paint the bare boards. Would this be suitable or would the fumes be too noxious long term? Is it suitable in the home? Or in a dining room say?

Hello Diyneverpayforever
Yes it is fine to use in this application. You do require good ventilation and circulation, during not only application, but the drying phase. The coating is fully cured within 30 days, but most of the solvents are evapourated within the first 48 hours. Thank you

Can you paint over a laminate floor
Is there any preparation involved or does the floor just need to be clean? Changing decor & would like a grey floor & can't afford to replace the flooring.

Hello Kaymick
You cannot paint laminate with the above coating, and unfortunately we do not have a coating that would adhere to laminate. There are specialist coatings that can, but nothing we provide.
Thank you
