Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item Used this to drill 12 led lights into porcelain tile and good as new still Says dry but recommend dipping bit in and out of water and sponging water on tile as you go Keep the revs down low and make sure you clean the core bit out after every hole and this product will last

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not that good Tried 5his and honestly took it straight back as the tip broke up, i the tipis maf3 up of a rubber with cutting tips in. Reverted back to what I’d used previously

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, it drills porcelain tiles Having used a porcelain tile drill suggested by my tile supplier, (it broke after drilling three holes), I bought two of these drills. Have only used one and it drilled the tiles cleanly and efficiently, would definitely recommended this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I have recently installed a bathroom and tiled with porcelain tiles. Drilling is always difficult. Special drills are required and this purchase did the job, no problem. I tried other diamond tipped bits but one didn’t even drill one hole before the drill was blunt. I have drilled 8 holes so far and the last was as easy as the first. I would with out doubt recommend this drill bit. Don’t apply too much pressure and take your time. Excellent buy

Can this be used to drill Sandstone Slabs?

As yet I've not managed to drill holes in our sandstone slabs. Will one of these do the trick?
Asked by: Skippykangaroo
Hi Skippykangaroo, This drill bit is designed for use with tiles. If you are drilling through Sandstone slabs, I would suggest looking at a masonry drill bit such as those featured in the link I have included. https://www.screwfix.com/c/tools/drill-bits/cat12140001?drillbittype=masonry&cm_sp=managedredirect-_-pta-_-masonrydrillbit Thanks for using Q&A

Will this fit most drills?

I just have a cheap drill as I don't need to use it very often, is this likely to fit?
Asked by: Red512
Hello, Unfortunately, without knowing your model of drill I cant say for certain as to whether this will fit. But this drill bit does have an ordinary hex shank, which is one of the most common shank types drills take, so i'd imagine it would fit most drills. Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]

This is listed as 10x8mm Image shows drill diameter as 10mm. What does the 8mm mean??

Asked by: Grahampy
Hello Grahampy, The 8mm refers to the length of the diamond cutting bit, on the tip of the tile drill bit. Thank you for using Q&A, [BH].
