Rated 5 out of 5 by from well worth the cost needed a tough blade that would cut pallet wood and risk hitting the odd nail...the bit that's not show on here is on the out side it says nail tough and boy is it fantastic. saw table came with a cheap blade it made hard work and put saw motor under stress.. what a difference a quality blade makes..it runs smooth no stress on saw motor ..well worth the price...

Will this blade cut wood with nails in?

I have a load of joists with nails in, i cant remove them all, so need a blade that will cut the wooden joists and nails if i hit one. Thanks

It states in the description you can, I have also done it myself with ease, it will shorten the blades life.

is this de Walt mytre saw suitable for cutting metal, I. e aluminium ?

Hi There As long as you have the correct blade on the mitre saw you can cut non-ferrous metals like aluminium. This blade wouldn't be suitable for cutting aluminium.
