Rated 3 out of 5 by from A change from Paslode Tried this as an alternative to the Paslode PPN nailer as I'm fed up paying to get it fixed every month. Comes in around the same cost although it comes with two batteries. The tool is a little top heavy but once you get used to it, it is comfortable to use. I've only had the tool three days but have been putting it through it's paces. I've had quite a few nail jams, but it's a fairly easy fix & back working in a couple of minutes. The tool is smaller than the Paslode, allowing you to get in tighter spaces which is helpful. There is also less recoil from the tool compared to the Paslode. I had it out working in the rain all day today and had no problems. Still early days so can't say much for reliability but performance wise the tool does the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good Only had this nailer for a few days, but I have put 2000 nails through it already. I brought this as a replacement for a paslode ppn, and I have to say, so far I'm very impressed, I don't know whether it is, but it feels lighter to use and is far better balanced. With this kind of nailer it needs to be on its higher speed setting to get the speed of nailing required for joist hangers and connectors, but the battery still lasts well, done a set of joists with all hangers, end caps and z clips fully nailed on one battery. It's nailing consistentsy is head and shoulders above the pasload with only one or two nails not driven fully home. Also it is alot quieter than the pasload and has far less shock and recoil. As far as reliability goes, I've not had it long enough to comment on, that said, I don't know if it's possible to be worse than the pasload which seemed to break every few weeks, hence the replacement. The only bit I don't like so much is the nail feeder, it feels abit flimsy and you have to lock it open to put that nails in, which feels like a bit of a step backwards. But like I say, very impressed so far.
