Reducing olive

I can’t get the olive to grip the pipe once it’s broken. I’ve used these valves before with no problems and can’t figure this out, any suggestions?

I have no suggestions sorry! check the sizes are correct and if you think its a manufacturing fault then please return the product under warranty for a replacement.

Does the 8mm fitting still come with this?

The product description used to say 8/10mm but now just says 10mm. Do the 8mm fittings still come with this? I note from previous questions that it definitely used to come with 8mm fittings.

I bought one this week from a brand new Screwfix store in Edinburgh and it does not include the 8mm olive despite Danfoss assuring me that it has been re-introduced on current stock!! It is possible to order just the specialist 8mm olive (013G0816) from other suppliers but I shall try using a 10x8 adaptor (97641).

I would like to replace an existing radiator valve with this trv. will I need to remove the existing 10mm olive from the copper pipe or can it be used instead of the olive that comes with the trv.

best practice would be to swap over for the new olive so that you can assure it hasn't suffered wear and tare over the years

Works with mircobore piping and standard radiators

I'm assuming this product connects small bore piping with standard radiators? The 8-10mm x8/10mm description is throwing me slightly.
