Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Useful Tool Used these to feed some armoured Cat6 through a soffit into the loft space on a shallow pitch roof & under a wooden decking. Works a treat and the combined 10m length will get you out of most tight spots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works really well Used it to thread CAT5 and aerial cables under floorboards. Solidly made. The sections are very stiff and so able to be pushed through long distances. Did the job really well. Just measured. The blue rods are 4mm diameter and the metal screws/bolts that secure the 1m lengths together are 6mm diameter. According to the instruction leaflet minimum bend radius is 220mm.

I used them on a fairly simple job and they were fine, now I have something more demanding and need some additional fittings and here's the problem... They are NOT Super Rod products! The description has now changed here but they are still sold as Super Rod elsewhere and they 100% incompatible with genuine Super Rod products. I thought I was buying-in to a system that I could expand as needed but I can't. Accept this and they are fine, make the mistake I made and you'll wish you paid a bit more for the real McCoy.

Whats the diameter of the rods.

Just measured. The blue rods are 4mm diameter and the metal screws/bolts that secure the 1m lengths together are 6mm diameter.

How much can the rods bend

What is minimum bend radius? Need to push rods up through wall cavity to install ethernet cable. So need to know how close access hole can get to floor and not snap the rods.

Could you route an ethernet cable with this?

Could you route an ethernet cable thru this with the RJ45 connectors already on, i have to route through a very tiny space just short of 10m which is big enough for the RJ45 but I'm not clear how big the diameter gets when the cable is being routed.

Answering my own question -the answer is yes!. I used a lot of duck tape to secure it but yes, the RJ45 survived!
