(6 products)Tile spacers are small pieces of typically cross shaped plastic that are used during the tiling process to ensure consistently even spacing between tiles. This also helps to provide a symmetrical surface for grouting and a more professional finish. Leaving the correct spacing in between each tile is essential to allow for movement and stress relief, but will differ according to the installation. Wall spacers should be a minimum of 2mm and floor spacers a minimum of 3mm. It is important to ensure that the first tile is laid correctly as a starting point, as not all floor or wall surfaces are perfectly level.
