Screw hole
Is there a hole in the bracket to secure shelf?
Asked by: Victor12
Bought RB UK U Bracket 220mm (64271), but product marked Element System 32.
As I have RB Uk systems already installed, is the Element Systems 32 product fully compatable. It looks very similar, but was concerned as decribed incorrectly on website and on Invoice.

What screw sizes are required to fix to shelves
Read in one of the reviews that a 1" and 2" are required, but what diameter?? Can you please confirm.

I used 25mm X 150mm tongue and groove for shelves with 4.0 X 30mm (front) and 4.0 X 50mm (rear) Turbo gold screws.

Do these have the standard 31.75mm slot spacing?
Most twin slot systems follow the standard 31.75mm separation vertically between slots (around 10mm separation between the slots side-to-side) so that brackets & uprights from different manufacturers are interchangeable, but some are not.

These brackets will fit a standard 31.75mm slot.

Do these fit genuine Spur uprights ?
I am going to assume so but don't want to order some if they won't fit !

Yes they do, but if you have the original genuine Spur make rails and spurs, you'll find these thinner steel U brackets may need some slight modification to fit the thicker metal in the original rails.
I've used a flat sided needle file to increase the width of the slot which fits over the rail's thickness. This makes a great fit and I've found they make just as strong a supporting 'spur', despite being made of thinner steel sheet.
