Rated 5 out of 5 by from MAKITA UC3541A/2 1800W 230V Brought this after having a petrol chainsaw for 3 years . Absolutely Brilliant Chainsaw a lot easier to use. A lot Quieter . Performance Brilliant. The only small negative thing I can say about it is the oil level indicator not clear. Would be nice to have a l.e.d . This is my honest opinion . One happy Chappy Paul

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great chainsaw Received my chainsaw yesterday, very well packed well presented. Very easy to assemble using the instructions. Feels a very sturdy chainsaw but not to heavy. Very quiet when switched on, it went through my tree nogs like butter. Very pleased with it so far n would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from top class I was cutting some wood when my old McCulloch went belly up so looked for a replacement on Screwfix, read reviews for all, not many for the Makita but all good, so decided to spend the extra dosh 7 get it. So set it all up as per manual & started work which I thought would take me the afternoon & next morning. 3 & 1/2 hours later, all done including cleaning & sweeping up. I now see why the reviews were all good. This chainsaw is light, powerful & very easy to use, I've only used it the once so far but I'm chuufed to bits with it & would recommend it to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine Great little chainsaw for all the needs around the house with plenty of power. Very easy to set up straight from the box and no tool tension system works great don't forget to check it ( especially after first couple of cuts) Cord is plenty long so no issues there and just overall this tool feels solid. Read the instructions manual as these tools are not 100% maintenance free (oil and after work quick wipe and clear - I also recommend to drain oil after you finished) NOTE: Don't forget to buy chainsaw oil and regularly top it up, especially if you are planning to use this saw for longer period of time.

What size chain file do I need? The leaflet says 4.5mm but you only sell 4mm or 4.8mm... You used to sell 4.5mm files labelled as 3/16 inch but now the 4.8mm file is labelled as 3/16 inch... I am confused!

Asked by: CrustyChris
File part number for 4.5mm is 958500618
