Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really useful endy hose joiner Bought this X2 to install a shower in a 'fitted' bathroom. Put a T on supply and the the flexi hose could wiggle around pipework and cupboard sections til.it was where I wanted it. Made an awkward job really easy and no mess/damage.

Shower hose vs. Flexi hose

Can flexi hose be used instead of shower hose? I was sold one buy mistake and I fitted it. The water pressure is amazing. If it is safe then I'm not going back to usual shower hose. (Shower is not electric). Thanks.
Asked by: Nobigtrouble
Hello Nobigtrouble, This has not been tested for use in this way and so we are not able to recommend it's use with a shower. Thank you for using Q&A

Can these be used with hot and cold water feeds?

I need to connect a small modern basin in a revamped bathroom - the flexibility of these appear to offer the answer but, as per the title, can these be used with hot and cold water feeds? Any assistance greatly appreciated.

What product will work with this and fit my needs?

This connects fine to the tap I have, but it won't connect the other end for the water inlet. The water inlet is 22mm male connection. What item can I buy to be able to connect the 2 together. ??
Asked by: Timmah726
Hi Timmah726, If you need to connect a tap with 1/2" BSP connection to a 22mm water pipe you need a 22mm x 1/2" hose. Unfortunately Screwfix do not stock these. With regard to keeping the hose you have and adapting the 15mm compression fitting to fit 22mm pipe, the only method that I can see, from the items in our product range, would be to to fit a short length of 15mm copper pipe into the compression fitting on your hose and then use a reducing coupler, such as Compression Reducing Coupler 22 x 15mm (68500) to connect the 15mm pipe to the 22mm pipe. Another possibility is to use a different hose. All of our hoses of this type, but for 22mm pipe, have a 3/4" BSP connection at the tap end (for bath taps), for example Product Code 29515. As far as I am aware, if a ¾ x ½" bush (such as Product Code 98427) is fitted to the thread on the tap first to increase its size to 3/4" BSP, then this alternative hose (29515) could be fitted to the 1/2" BSP male thread on your tap, and it already has a 22mm compression fitting to fit the 22mm pipe. Thanks for using Screwfix Q&A. JT
