Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still the top plastic plumbing Bought to replace a check valve under the bath which had developed a leak - perfect where space to work is limited. Worked faultlessly, as this range always does. The style and colour may have changed in recent times, but it's still my favourite push-fit plastic plumbing system by far.

It's very noisy, is this normal?

I've just installed this in an under-sink refit and it's very noisy. It's installed the correct way round (the appliances are working) and the screw is tight but it's still very noisy. Do other people find this or is mine faulty? Thanks.

Hi there Usually the valves are quiet, the problem maybe down to something vibrating inside the valve. We would be more than happy to provide a FOC replacement and get this one back to look at. You can contact our technical team on 0844 856 5165. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if there is anything else we can help you with. Many thanks, The Hep2O Team

What is the minimum temperature the unit can withstand

I’m wondering if it can be used out doors
Asked by: Chply
Hi there, It was designed for internal use only. However, the Hep2O product guide states that if it is installed outdoors or in an unheated environment, it should be protected from frost in accordance with BS 5422, BS6700 and BS EN 806, Water Bylaws and Building Regulations Approved Document L. Hep2O should be protected from the effects of ultraviolet radiation. If insulation has been installed to avoid freezing this provides adequate protection. Where insualtion is not used, paint or covering is recommended. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if there is anything else we can help you with. Many thanks, the Hep2O team

What are the seals made of?

I was wondering if this check valve can resist diluted bleach in the system it's used in.
Asked by: jakeef
Hi there, the seals are made out of Peroxide cured EDPM. Diluted bleach cannot be used in Hep2O. Hope this helps, if there's anything else you need to know don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks, Hep2O team
