Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn’t use anything else I use these to attach wire mesh to solar panels to prevent birds nesting underneath much better than the ones with a pz head the hex nut head make it much easier to control can just use one hand to drill them in leaving other hand free to hold wire mesh

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfying Not many things more satisfying than pushing this through some steel. With the impact driver, a second or two later it just grips and locks ideally. Used it for van shelving held together very well. Just don’t know what to do with the other 90 but will find a use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multiple uses These are possibly the best self drilling screws I have used. I used them for attaching aluminium plate to a steel frame in an off road truck. The speed at which they cut is impressive but the grip once they are in is unreal. They stop a cordless drill on the max torque setting without stripping the thread. More than five stars.

What is the weight in kg these could hold?

If I was to use these as fixing for hangers for a ceiling, would they be good enough to hold a certain weight? 2 in every hanger, what would that hold please?

Hello, These are stitching screws and are not designed to support weight/hang things (they're designed for stitching sheet metals together. You would need a different product for your type of installation requirements. Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]

Do these come with a driver bit and if not what size and do you stock suitable ones

Drill

What sort of drill bit do I need to enable the screw to go into steel? What setting should drill be on? Thanks

In theory they are self drilling but I'd recommend 4mm hss drill bits like these http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-hss-jobber-drill-bits-4mm-pack-of-5/70164 Aim for a drill speed of 500 - 800 rpm ,use plenty of pressure but obviously not enough pressure that the drill bit breaks!
