Are these screws ok to install plasterboard onto wooden studs or should I be buying the coarse thread screws? I dont fully understand the difference between the course single thread and the double thread.

Hello, These screws can be used to fix plasterboard to timber partitions. Single and double thread just refers to how many threads run down the screw. The more threads typically the harder it would be to pull out (more threads = better grip). For which screws would be best for your particular installation needs you may wish to contact a competent tradesperson for advice. Thanks for using Q&A
