Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best screws I’m onto my second box of 200 lining the inside of my shed with plywood. These screws allow you to get close to the board edge with no splitting, no need for pilot holes or countersinks. Best screws ever.

wall plugs?

Been asked to pick up plugs to go with these screws and can't find obvious match, and don't want to admit defeat?! 5784T or 28011 seem only options or am I mis-reading the spec? Thanks :o)
Asked by: CharlieOtter
Hello CharlieOtter, You could use either red or the brown plugs for example 44708 and 89068. I hope this is useful. Thank you for using Q and A.JB

Would these be suitable for attaching 3x2 stud work to wooden cladding? Also do they need a pilot hole? Cheers!

Asked by: sian2joseph
Hello sian2joesph. This would be suitable for attaching studwork to cladding. They have a razor-sharp slash tip for cutting their own hole but you could drill a pilot hole if you wish to prevent the timber from splitting if it's close to an edge. Thank you for using Q&A (CW)
