Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless on Chromed copper pipe Used to connect copper to chromed copper. They pulled straight of 3 of 4 chromed pipes. I then wrecked the copper pipes trying to remove them. Had they worked they are very wobbly and need support on both pipes. I wouldn't buy again

Have used these for a long time and they are great if you are pushed for space and often they will get you out of trouble when a compression fitting just won't seal cos of an awkward angle. Always use a pipe cutter though to get a nice end, clean the end of the pipe well with a pipe cleaner and mark about an inch back from the end with a sharpie so you can be certain you've pushed the pipe all the way in. I tend to use the JG Speedfit for most things as you can demount them, but these are brilliant if your pushed for space and rubbish at plumbing like me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hey good lookin' Easy to use and much better looking than plastic alternative. As others have said, make sure pipe is clean and a pencil mark to make sure pipe is fully inserted is a good idea if you're new to push fit. Can't comment on reliability yet as it's the first time I've used them.

Can I use these on a radiator?

would these fittings allow the pipe to rotate while remaining leakproof? I am looking to create a garden mixing swivel tap out of copper tube but wish the tap to rotate by 180 deg.

Can you use solder of these if leaking?

I have a tiny leek on the 22mm pushfit. It is definitely fully inserted. I can only assume either the pipe is a poor cut or the pushfit is faulty. Either way, is it possible to solder the pushfit to the pipe to stop the leek?

I’d imagine not as there is a small rubber o ring internally. Just need to make sure pipe is clean, chamfered & deburred.
