In the photos it looks like there's a black ring underneath the spout for each tap - is this plastic or rubber, what does it do and can it be removed?

Is it possible to change the rubber washer in these taps? Or do the taps have to be replaced when they start do drip?

If the washers can be replaced do the taps need to be removed to do this as the top of the taps seem to be made as one unit, and not be able to unscrew.

Hello SuetSuet, Yes you should just be able to replace the rubber washer's for these taps. The taps may need to be removed, any installation advise we would recommend contacting a local tradesperson. Thank you for using Q&A.

Can you install aerators to these taps, and if so, how...?

Hello, Thank you for using Q&A. Aerators usually screw in/out. There should be two flat parts on the sides of the aerator which allows a spanner to be used. Once removed, measure the diameter of the threads. The aerators that Screwfix sell have M24x1 Male Thread i.e. STROM MINI FLOW TAP FLOW RESTRICTOR & AERATOR (6177R) Hope that helps.

The hot tap is leaking - is this repairable with a new cartridge or does it need a washer?

If it requires a cartridge, please can you advise which one it takes and how you can remove the indices without damaging the tap Thanks

Hello sdunlop, These would require a valve but we don't have any information on which one. you would have to remove the levers and see how many splines it has and the height of them. Removing the indices would require a thin bladed screwdriver and a careful hand. Thank you for using Q&A
