Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slight reservations Hopefully the major problem was a one-off. The knob for the privacy bolt is held in place with an allen key type grub screw - or it would have been it the screw had been provide. It's now held in place with a home made screw with an normal screwdriver slot. The reservation is because the handles have quite sharp corners.

These are well made and should last for years. You could spend more than double this on handles but you don't really need to do that as these are so good.

Query re 2 items with different numbers

Both 7020P and 4943P state the same measurements, is one of these a shorter one. I have replaced the other handles with these but need the bathroom one to match 110mm only in length, do you have this?

Hello, 7020P and 4943- Are essentially the same. The only difference I can identify is that one handle (7020P) Has a slightly shorter handle (shorter by 3mm). Both of these handles have a backplate that is 152mm long. Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]

What are the screw hole spacing?

Hello I’m replacing handles onto doors with existing holes. What is the distance between the screw hole centres? Also what is the vertical distance between the screw hole centres and the handle centre? Thanks

Hello DH9876, The distance between the bottom screw holes is 26mm. From the bottom screw holes to the center of the bottom spindle is 37mm, 55mm between the spindle centers and then 42mm from the handle spindle center to the top screw holes. Thank you for using Q&A (CW)

Once locked can this lock be opened from the outside in an emergency?
