Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Price Box But, Here’s the but, why the 28mm OD holes for the grommets?? If you want to gland off then 20/25mm glands won’t fit & the hole positions mean you can’t bush down either, 20mm holes & grommets would be fine. Does Schneider think your going to be stuffing 25mm armoured through the grommets? You can just about drill a 20mm above & between the existing holes to get a gland in & as this was going under the eaves of a log cabin so not really on show it doesn’t look out of place. If you want a box to fit glands, buy a different box. If you want a large terminal box sited in a sheltered position to poke cables through grommets & hope you maintain ingress protection then this box is ok & that’s really all I would recommend it for.

What size cable glands are required for this box and do Screwfix supply them.

What connections do you use to attach armoured core cable. I have 25mm and 20mm cable. The usual metal ones do not fit the holes.

What size are the knockouts?

Will 25mm conduit fit through the knockouts on this box? If not, what is the maximum size?

Without the rubberised knockout the holes are 28mm. The spacing of the holes is tight enough that I wouldn't try and encourage a 32mm gland in one of them as it would overlap the next hole.

what are the width and height internal sizes ?.

Maximum internal dimensions from a sample of one unit are: 150 x 108 x 80 mm, this narrows to 111 x 68 x 66 mm when protrusions (mounting points, lid closure, etc are accounted for. The external dimensions are: 170 x 126 x 87mm.
