Hi i have around 50 new railway sleepers which will need cutting down would this handsaw be the right one for these
Thanks
If they are new 'decorative sleepers' for a garden (just large sawn dried timber) , this will be fine, it will give a nice clean cut, but might go blunt after quite a few.
If they are actual proper sleepers which are full of tar or bitumen, then a bow saw would be better as it will rip through without getting clogged, but wont be as clean a finish.
